SHAY ALESSI

YOUTH ADVISOR SINCE 2025

Shay is a senior at Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, WA. As a member of the school’s Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Committee, he helps plan suicide-prevention and wellness trainings and coordinates the annual Mental Health Week. His interest in supporting students who struggle socially led him to Stand For Courage, where he has found meaningful purpose in promoting their anti-bullying mission.

He stays active through cross country, track, and hiking, and works as a lifeguard at his local YMCA. When he’s not running or at the pool, he can often be found playing jazz sax, spending time with friends, drawing, or cooking with his family—especially Eggs Benedict and Caesar salad, his specialties.
