Emilie Jackson

ADVISOR, STORYTELLING

Emilie Jackson began her career working in an elementary school, driven by a deep belief that children thrive when treated as whole humans—capable, complex, and deserving of dignity.

At 22, after being diagnosed with a rare chronic illness that affected her mobility, Emilie created an online community for patients navigating early diagnosis. What started as a small group has grown into a global network connecting thousands of patients and families. She is constantly inspired by their resilience and courage, which motivates her to continue pushing for the unseen. Emilie sees herself as a conduit for their stories in the pursuit of amplifying voices, reducing isolation, and making the invisible visible. She is currently working on a book that collects these stories, offering a resource to foster solidarity and empathy across communities.

Since 2016, Emilie has been involved with Stand for Courage, supporting the program’s mission to cultivate school cultures rooted in courage, belonging, and respect. Alongside this work, she has built a career in technology, applying her expertise in product strategy and leadership to create meaningful outcomes while staying guided by people-first principles and long-term impact.

Outside of work, Emilie is most likely on a long sunrise walk with her husband and two dogs (coffee in hand), digging in the garden, or talking enthusiastically about endurance running, space, or the evolution of midwifery.
